On Thursday, March 6, Lael Keiser, Professor of Political Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia will give a talk entitled "Decision Making Speed and the Generosity of Social Welfare Programs." This talk is open to all members of the Washington University community. Presentation starts at 1:30 p.m. in Eliot 300. Refreshments provided.

On Friday, February 15, James Fowler, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego will give a talk entitled "Partisanship, Voting, and the Dopamine D2 Receptor Gene" (abstract). Jonathan Rapkin Joins CAS

CAS welcomes Jonathan Rapkin as its newest staff member. Jonathan will serve as the Center's Data Archivist and Technical Support Specialist. He will be a valuable asset as the Center moves forward in providing additional services and enhancements to the Washington University community.

24th Annual Summer Meeting: Society for Political Methodology

Washington University in St. Louis participated in the Annual Politcal Methodology Summer Meeting held in July at Pennsylvania State University.
