Event Description:
The third annual SLAMM meeting will be April 16-17 in 2010. For the 2009 meeting last April, the "St. Louis Area" included Berkeley CA, Dallas TX, Minneapolis MN, Chicago and Urbana-Champaign IL, Lawrence KS, Iowa City IA, Chapel Hill NC, and other close locales. In addition to the regular set of faculty papers for 2010, we have obtained National Science Foundation support to add a 1/2 day (9-1 on Saturday with breaks) for graduate student paper presentations. In mid-February we will have a proposal webpage for this purpose and supported graduate students will have their airfare and hotel expenses reimbursed, as in the Society's Summer Meeting. We hope to see many of you here.
