Print Services
The Center for Applied Statistics program has two color printers. Printing services are offered free to program affiliated faculty and students. Fees are charged for Washington University non-program related printing:
HP Color LaserJet 4600
- Prints color laser quality 8 ½ x 11 pages
- White stock and/or transparencies
- Charge is .25 cents per page for non-program printing on white stock, $1.00 per page for transparencies.
HP DesignJet 500PS (poster printer)
- Prints high quality, color posters
- Paper is heavy weight, coated, white stock
- The width of the printer is 42", so one dimension of the poster (either width or height) cannot exceed 41.5". The other dimension is limited to 150 feet.
Poster Printing Costs
Program affiliated faculty and students:
- FREE
Washington University Non-Program:
- $10.00 per running foot
- If one dimension does not exceed 41.5", cost is calculated using the shortest dimension
- If one dimension exceeds 41.5", cost is calculated using the longest dimension
Example poster costs:
- 30 x 41.5 -- $25.00
- Based on 30" dimension: 30" ÷ 12" = 2.5' x $10 = $25.00
- 48 x 41.5 -- $40.00
- Based on 48" dimension: 48" ÷ 12" = 4' x $10 = $40.00
- 24 x 36 -- $20.00
- Based on 24" dimension: 24" ÷ 12" = 2' x $10 = $20.00
Procedures for Requesting Printing Services
- Send an email to Sue Tuhro at tuhro@wustl.edu
- For laserjet printing, include either a Word, PDF or Excel file.
- For poster printing, include a PDF file. The image should be the actual dimensions of the printed poster.
- Provide the department Name and Number to be billed.
- Allow 4-5 days for turn around.
- Requests are printed in the order emails are received.
- Sue will send you an email when the job is ready for pickup from Seigle L085.
